Vellacine Ltd has been providing windows, doors, conservatories and roofline products to the people and businesses of Cardiff and South Wales for over 30 years.

Vellacine commenced trading in May 1978 as a manufacturer and installer of double glazing windows, secondary double glazing windows and doors from a small shop premises in the Castle Arcade in Cardiff.

After two years of rapid growth we moved to a larger factory premises in Penarth Dock, employing fifteen people. Expansion continued and by 1998 we had outgrown our Penarth factory so purchased a purpose-built 22,000 sq. ft. factory in Hadfield Road, Cardiff. This is where we continue to trade and where we have built our large showroom, which you are welcome to visit.

The company has enjoyed considerable expansion and diversification since its humble beginnings back in 1978. Our extensive range of products in both aluminium and uPVC caters for all modern day requirements in the commercial and domestic market places.

Vellacine’s standard of excellence combines superior technical qualities with unbeatable good looks. Our products have been specified and used in some of the country’s largest and most prestigious projects, not to mention literally thousands of homes.

Vellacine is now one of the largest and longest established window and door manufacturers in Wales and regularly carries out major contracts for schools, local authorities, health authorities, architects, building contractors, national food chains and housing associations. Our work extends throughout the United Kingdom and into France, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary and Singapore.

In 2008, the management team running Vellacine bought control of the company and started expanding the workforce. We now have over 30 members of staff and even though the original founders have retired, we maintain the deep family values that the business was built upon.

All residential windows, doors, conservatories and roofline products are covered by our comprehensive 10 year guarantee and an insurance backed guarantee is also available if required.

• Bespoke conservatories in uPVC and aluminium.

• An extensive range of accessories including locks, hinges, bolts and tools, etc.

On top of manufacturing and installing the above products, we also offer a full repair and maintenance service for existing uPVC and aluminium products, available for both commercial and domestic customers. We help you to keep your property working well and looking its best.
